I am from Flathead Lake, Montana in Big Arm. I received a MA in Education Administration from CSUSB and a BA in Health and PE from CSULB. I am active in most sports like golf, racquetball, tennis, scuba diving, softball, basketball and love to watch all sports especially attending professional hockey, football and baseball games as well as formula one racing. I horse pack into the Bob Marshall Wilderness during the summers in Montana and travel extensively worldwide.
After spending many years managing health clubs, I began my teaching career in Palm Springs, CA teaching Computer Applications, Dance, Health and PE and was the drill team director and football coach. I moved into administration as the Activities Director than moved back into the business world as the mall event planner and executive director overseeing street concerts, arts and crafts festivals, and community events in Montana. I am an active volunteer for American Heart Association.
I got back into teaching and administration working for a private therapeutic 335 acre residential high school ranch in Marion, MT and started a library and study hall on campus. I, also, taught experiential classes in horseback riding, rope courses and gardening and operated the human resource department.
This is my 4th year with CCSD teaching Health and Personal Wellness and involved with afterschool activities as the JV basketball coach and Dance Director. I love working at Virtual High School and my experiences with the virtual students have been fantastic. I look forward to another great year. Welcome aboard our virtual campus from Las Vegas.
