Statistics AP

This one-year Advanced Placement® course is intended for students who have completed at least one year of Geometry, Algebra I, Algebra II and are preparing for further study in disciplines requiring statistical course work. This course will include the study of statistical graphing techniques, measures of center and variance, distributions, regression analysis, probability, significance testing, and experimental design. Technology, including calculators and computer software, will be used throughout the course. This course will fulfill one of the mathematics credits required for graduation. It is expected students will take the AP exam in May. See your school counselor if you have a financial hardship.
