Physics II(B) AP
This first-year college level course is designed for those students who exhibit an interest in science, mathematics, engineering or computer science and who wish to take the Advanced Placement® exam in Physics. Good writing skills, trigonometry and algebra skills are essential. Topics covered are mechanics, heat, light, sound and electricity/magnetism. A science project may be required. This course is designed to assist students in high school to gain college credit and/or placement in physics upon complete of the AP® exam with an acceptable score. This course qualifies as a laboratory science for college entrance. It is expected students will take the AP exam in May. See your school counselor if you have a financial hardship.
