Macroeconomics AP

This is a one-semester course with an emphasis on meeting the requirements of the College Board Advanced Placement Macroeconomics examination. Instructors should refer to the current Advanced Placement course description for examination specifics. This course will give advanced placement students a comprehensive understanding of the principles of macroeconomics. Macroeconomic concepts relate to the study of the economic system as a whole. Students will focus on the study of national income and price-level determination, economic performance measures, the financial sector, stabilization policies, economic growth, and international economics. This course will fulfill one-half of one of the elective credits required for high school graduation. It is expected students will take the AP exam in May.
