Geometry I Honors

This one-year course provides advanced study in Geometry for the more capable student. It is a rigorous, logical development of the deductive system of reasoning. Emphasis is on the development of logic, formal proofs, and algebraic applications to geometry. The prerequisite for this course is successful completion of Algebra I Honors. It is expected that a calculator and computer software will be used as instructional tools. This course will fulfill one of the mathematics credits required for graduation.
