Geometry I

This one-year course is a logical development of the inductive and deductive system of reasoning. Emphasis is on developing visualization abilities, analytical skills, and logical reasoning through activity-oriented methods of instruction. The prerequisite for this course is successful completion of Algebra I or Applied Algebra. It is expected that a calculator and computer software will be used as instructional tools. This course will fulfill one of the mathematics credits required for graduation.
