My name is Ms. Mras. I taught English at Virtual High School for two years, but have been in the district for eleven years. My favorite topic is World Literature because there is such a variety of topics that can be used within the classroom. I enjoy exploring other cultures through the lens of literature.
On a personal note, I am a published author. My first book What If? is geared for teens, so if you're interested in reading the best novel ever written (just kidding) then go to Amazon.com and type in my name (search by author). I just finished my second novel Fat Haters' Club and am in the editing phase. I love to read and write and that is why I became an educator. I also love to dance, so I am taking a Belly dance class right now called Spanish Fusion. I am half Latina so I love Spanish style music. I have one son whose name is Dylan and he is going on 6 years-old. I attached a picture of us playing together. Most of my time is spent with him, so people say we are a lot alike. Good thing that I have an exceptional personality. As you can tell, I have a sense of humor, so as an instructor I am easy to approach and am really enjoying being a teacher on-line. |
