Dr. Essington Wade was born on the lovely island of St. Thomas U.S.V.I. His elementary and secondary school experience was split between St. Thomas and the birthplace of his parents, the magnificent island of Antigua. Dr. Wade moved to Las Vegas in 1985 to pursue a job in the United State Air Force as an electronics technician. Dr. Wade has been married for twenty plus years and has two adorable children.

Dr. Wade completed a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in instructional design, and a doctorate degree with an emphasis in instructional technology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Dr. Wade previously served as the Assistant Director of Mathematics, Science and Instructional Technology. In addition, Dr. Wade was one of the technology leaders for the 287 Educational Computing Strategists, and he played an active role in the administration of instructional technology in the Clark County School District.
